Enhancement Shaman is the way to go if you want to build a powerful close range fighter Shaman. Ehancement is popular for the Dual Wield talent that enable a Shaman to use two one-handed weapons, one in each arm. The Enhancement build also use Lava Lash and Flametongue a lot, which is nice skills to have. How to use it? Keep reading this WoW Shaman guide for more detailed tips.

Enhancement Talent Build

With the rule that force you to spend thirty one points in one distinct tree before moving to other talent trees, it has became a little easier to "select a specialization" with little distraction. In cases like this, obviously you’ll want to invest all those thirty one points in the Enhancement tree. Here’s the talent build:

- Elemental Weapons (2)

- Focused Strikes (3)

- Improved Shields (3)

- Elemental Devastation (3)

- Flurry (3)

- Ancestral Swiftness (2)

- Stormstrike (1)

- Static Shock (3)

- Searing Flames (3)

- Shamanistic Rage (1)

- Unleashed Rage (2)

- Maelstrom Weapon (3)

- Improved Lava Lash (2)

Complete the 32 points with 1 point in Feral Spirit.

Use the remaining points at the Elemental tree:

- Acuity (3)

- Concussion (2)

- Reverberation (2)

- Elemental Precision (2)

The best way to play as an Enhancement Shaman

Your totems are very valuable in raids and heroics, so I suggest you to become a member of a raid party and make yourself useful. Moreover, other skills (such as Hex) can be valuable in specific circumstance, so don’t forget to equip Glyph of Hex in your Major Glyphs. Generally, here is the typical setup:

Prime Glyphs

- Flametongue Weapon

- Lava Lash

- Stromstrike

Some important glyphs to be placed in your Major Glyphs

- Hex

- Lightning Shield

- Shamanistic Rage

Lastly, put Windfury Weapon on your main hand weapon and Flametongue Weapon on your off hand weapon.

Once the battle begins, your 1st concern would be to drop your totems first. The totems that you need to drop first are Strength of Earth, Searing Totem, Healing Stream, and Windfury Totem. Next, activate your Shamanistic Rage. At that point, your battle preparation is completed; start to dish some heavy damage with Stormstrike, Unleash Elements, and Earth Shock.

As soon as your Searing Flames has reached five stacks, use your Lava Lash. Usually this can give you a very high damage output. Do the same with Maelstrom Weapon; any time it has reached 5 stacks, make use of your Lightning Bolt.

Now you know how to play as an Enhancement Shaman properly. Naturally, it is not necessary to do that in all battles, but you definitely have to do all of that in a boss fight. Follow all my advices in this WoW Shaman guide and every raid party will love to have you around.
